I’m looking for Pattern Testers for the dress “Melissa”!
Melissa is a vintage-inspired shirtwaist dress with an angular neckline, a classic bodice with princess seam and a flared skirt, with attached pockets and a ruffle at the hemline . The dress is closed with a button tape at the center front. Melissa goes from size 2 – 34. I would be particularly happy if the smaller and bigger sizes would sign up in this testing.
Measurment and Material Consumption:
What am I looking for?:
- Sewer with experience. ( You can see the right fit at a glance and pattern adjustments are not a problem for you).
- Constructive criticism. (Feedback, possible suggestions for improvement are very welcome. Good communication is the alpha and omega.)
- Sewers in sizes 2 – 34. (As mentioned above, I would particularly appreciate the smaller and bigger sizes.)
- Secrecy. (During the pattern testing, no photos of the sewing process, pattern or dress may be posted … that will come later.)
- Good photos. (Since I am not a good photographer myself, my standards are not very high, but the fit of the dress should be easy to see. Photos can be taken outside as well as in a building, there are no requirements.)
- Punctuality and Reliability. (Deadlines have to be met, but if somebody can not take part at the pattern test, he/she has to get in touch with me.)
- Advertising in sewing groups / your blog / Instagram etc. after publication!!
What do you get?
- A PDF sewing pattern in the desired size and format (A4, Letter or A0) a size chart, a material usage list, a sewing instruction in German and English, a checklist in German and English.
- If you want, one mention, after the successful Pattern Test, with your blog post (of the pattern), your Facebook page, your Instagram profile or other social media channels, in the finished e-book. (Only one social media channel is mentioned).
- During the Pattern Test, I stand by your side with words and deeds. You can always contact me. (There are no dumb questions!)
- My sincere gratitude for your efforts and your support.
- A request and invitation to the upcoming Pattern Tests, before the official Call. (Of course you can decide for yourself if you want to take part again.)
- A request to join my Facebook Group (for easier communication, but you don´t need to join, if you don´t want to.)
What should your application look like?
- Information about you. (For example, how long you sew, what you like to sew, how your style is, etc.) Important: Don´t forget to include your measurements!
- Why do you apply or why do you want to sew this dress?
- What size you want to sew.
- Which format you would like. (A4, Letter or A0)
- A link to your blog / Facebook page / Instagram

Ich suche nach geeigneten Probenähern, um mein Schnittmuster “Melissa” zu testen!
Melissa ist ein Vintage-inspiriertes Hemdblusenkleid, mit eckigem Ausschnitt, klassisch geschnittenen Oberteil mit einer Wiener Naht und einem ausgestellten Rock, mit zwei aufgesetzten Taschen und einer Rüsche an der Saumnaht. Geschlossen wird das Kleid mit einer Knopfleiste. Melissa geht von Größe 32 – 64. Besonders würde ich mich freuen, wenn sich die kleineren und größeren Größen bei diesem Probenähen melden würden.
Größenbeschreibung und Materialverbrauch:
Was suche ich?:
- Näher mit Erfahrung. (Die richtige Passform siehst du mit einem Blick und Schnittanpassungen sind kein Problem für dich).
- Konstruktive Kritik. (Feedback, mögliche Verbesserungsvorschläge sind sehr Willkomen. Gute Kommunikation ist das A und O.)
- Näher in Größen 32 – 64. (Wie oben bereits erwähnt, würde ich mich besonders über die kleineren und größeren Größen freuen.)
- Verschwiegenheit. (Während des Probenähens dürfen keine Fotos des Nähprozesses, Schnittes oder Kleides gepostet werden…das kommt erst später.)
- Gute Fotos. (Da ich selbst kein guter Fotograf bin, sind meine Ansprüche nicht besonders hoch, jedoch sollte die Passform des Kleides gut zu erkennen sein. Fotos können draußen als auch in einem Gebäude gemacht werden, da gibt es keinerlei Vorgaben.)
- Pünktlichkeit und Zuverlässigkeit. (Deadlines müssen eingehalten werden. Wenn jemand letztendlich doch nicht am Probenähen teilnehmen kann, muss er sich mir melden.)
- Werbung in Nähgruppen/eurem Blog/Instagram etc. nach der Veröffentlichung!!
Was bekommt ihr?
- Eine PDF-Schnittmuster in der gewünschten Größe und gewünschtem Format (A4, Letter oder A0, eine Größentabelle, eine Materialverbrauchsliste, eine Nähanleitung in Deutsch und Englisch, eine Checkliste in Deutsch und Englisch. (Natürlich kostenfrei.)
- Wenn ihr wollt eine, nach dem erfolgreichem Probenähen, Erwähnung, mit eurem Blogbeitrag (über das Schnittmuster), eurer Facebook-Seite, eurem Instagram-Profil oder anderen Social Media Kanälen, im fertigen E-Book. (Nur ein Social Media Kanal wird erwähnt).
- Während des Probenähens stehe ich euch mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Ihr könnt mich jederzeit anschreiben. (Es gibt keine dummen Fragen!)
- Meine aufrichtige Dankbarkeit für euer Bemühen und eure Unterstützung.
- Eine Anfrage und Einladung zu den kommenden Probenähen, vor dem offiziellen Probenähaufruf. (Natürlich könnt ihr selbst entscheiden, ob ihr wieder dabei sein wollt.)
- Eine Einladung, meiner Facebook-Gruppe beizutreten (zur einfacheren Kommunikation, aber ihr müsst nicht beitreten, wenn ihr nicht möchtet.)
Wie sollte eure aussagekräftige Bewerbung aussehen?
- Angaben zu euch. (z.B.: Wie lange ihr näht, was ihr gerne näht, wie euer Stil ist etc.) Wichtig: Vergesst bitte nicht, eure Maße mitzuschicken!
- Warum ihr euch bewerbt bzw. warum ihr dieses Kleid Probenähen wollt.
- Welche Größe ihr nähen wollt.
- Welches Format ihr gerne hättet. (A4, Letter oder A0)
- Einen Link zu eurem Blog/Facebook-Seite/Instagram
